    Visitor Visa

The Visitor visa (subclass 600) covers short-term travel to Australia for tourism, business activity, or visiting family, through separate streams built for each purpose. Stay length and conditions depend on which stream applies, and applying under the wrong one is one of the most common reasons applications stall.

Four streams under one visa: tourist, business, sponsored family, and frequent traveler.

    Service Process

We start with the purpose of your trip, not the paperwork. Tourism, business, and family visits sit under different streams with different evidence expectations, and applying under the right one from the start is faster than correcting course after a refusal.

The visitor visa process runs on three commitments:

We confirm your stream before collecting a single document
We explain your sponsor's obligations upfront if family sponsorship is involved
We match your evidence to what your specific stream expects to see
Can I work on a visitor visa?
No. The Visitor visa does not permit work in Australia under any stream. Applicants who need to work should ask about student, graduate, or skilled visa options instead.
How long can I stay on a visitor visa?
Stay length is typically three, six, or twelve months, set by the Department of Home Affairs based on the stream and the individual application. It is not fixed in advance.
Can a family member in Australia sponsor my visit?
Yes, through the Sponsored Family stream, though the sponsor is also assessed as part of the application, not just the visitor.
Can a visitor visa be extended once I'm in Australia?
Onshore extensions are possible in some circumstances but are not guaranteed, and depend on the original visa conditions and the applicant's situation at the time.

    Service Options

    1
    Tourist Stream
This covers holidays and casual visits to family or friends, no sponsor required. We help you show a clear reason to return home, which is what most refusals come down to.
    4
    Frequent Traveler
If you travel to Australia often, a longer visa with multiple entries may suit you better than applying each time. We assess your travel history to see if you qualify.
    2
    Business Stream
For short trips like meetings or conferences, not paid work. We help you frame the business purpose clearly and gather the correspondence a case officer expects to see.
    5
    Sponsor Support
Sponsoring a visitor comes with real financial obligations, and most sponsors don't realize that until they're mid-application. We walk you through what you're committing to before you sign on.
    3
    Family Sponsored
When a family member in Australia sponsors your visit, both of you are assessed together. We prepare your sponsor's side as carefully as yours, since that's often where applications slip.
    6
    Stay Extension
Extending onshore isn't automatic, and applying too close to your visa's expiry is a common reason it gets refused. We check your eligibility first, before you lodge anything.
